I think the thing I love about Colorado is the weather. It is a dry climate, we are considered high desert plains here on the foothills. As they say if you don't like the weather... just wait ten minutes. Rain comes and goes quickly and the sky is always changing. These storms come in from different directions all the time but always heading in the eastern direction. You are welcome Nebraska and Kansas. These storms tend to get larger and more severe as they head east bring hail, lighting and tornados. This is my 29th chasing Lightning and there is noticeable more severe extreme storms every year that goes by. Any more feel like life has turn in to a real life motion picture movie. One of the reasons I love hiding in the mountains off the grid away from it all.
