Fourmile Canyon fire burning above north Boulder, Colorado. Windy conditions fueled the blaze 09-06-10 — which originated in Emerson Gulch and was first reported at 10:02 a.m. — and gusts of up to 45 mph hindered crews' ability to attack the flames for most of the day, Boulder County sheriff's Cmdr. Rick Brough said.
