4 Mile Canyon Wildfire Sun Setting
Fourmile canyon fire Sun setting. A extremely fast moving wildfire began at 10:00am on Sept 6th, 2010, at FourMile Canyon Road near Emerson Gulch west of Boulder, the fire has been driven by high winds, closed Highway 19, on both sides between Boulder and Nederland with the wildfire heading northeast. Also reported, fire ash is falling in Boulder. The fire has reportedly already burned several structures and a fire truck that responded to the fire. Responding to fire several air tankers. residents within a 4 mile radius were asked to evacuate their homes. At this date 3500 acres have burned.
