City lights of Phoenix Arizona with a monsoon lightning thunderstorm creating some action. A cloud to ground strike hitting a transformer making for a big spark in the city. This can be a common sight when out chasing storms. There is also a big green glow ball that is pretty cool. This is from a 2006 storm chase taken with my canon 20D. (I hated that camera) I was very happy when I upgraded it.. Anyway this is a reject from that shoot that I never put out. Not sure what the swirls are in the sky, call it art :-) .
