I always loved the sea and the beautiful sunrises over the Atlantic.I traveled the New England Coast as a child on summer vacations and began painting scenes in Maine when I was 13 or so. Now I have lived 'inland' over 20+ years and the coast is only in my memory, so I create lighthouse scenes and sunsets and mix the two in many ways, WE have lakes here inland , so some of my scenes will be sunsets over lakes and such or a lighthouse with calmer waters and so on.
