Current Gallery: humanity ( piece)
My pieces are to invoke the feeling of humanity's rawest emotions. I have depicted these emotions as if they were given human form and trapped in cages of still form. I hang them in the gallery to show my liberation in trapped, frozen images. I am liberated, yet I have kept them so I may go back and view the moments in my life that I lived through and conquered. Four of the pieces hang from canvas, hand drawn in conte chalk, stretched and hung by small brace bars across the top and bottom, then hung with clear fishing line from the ceilings, but the bars can be used as closet doors, or can slide back and forth as room seperators. My charcoal piece is a figure drawing that I have split into 5, 18" x 24" glass frames hung verticle, or horizontal, depending on preference. My Acrylic piece "Submission" is split into 3 canvas pieces and can be hung close together as one piece or with gutters in between as 3 pieces straight across, or can be hung as I have hung them, in a triangle shape. It is about 9-12 ft across, I will post exact sizes on each image.
